Important: Make sure you’ve got a hardwired connection to the router before attempting to upgrade the firmware. If there is a new version, download it to a convenient location on your system. Browse to the location of the latest drive you just downloaded.
Open your browser and type in the router’s IP Address – typically 192.168.1.1 into the address bar.
This week I thought it would be prudent to talk about upgrading router ( switch and wireless access point) firmware.
You will need to download the firmware to your computer and connect an ethernet cable from computer to your router.
Side note: We have an option, yes there is another way.
