1) Since many JW's are married and belong to a different religion before they get baptized as a Jehovah's Witness, interfaith marriages are not so rare among JW's (typically only the wife converts to JW's).In those situations Paul's advice to the Corinthians apply. and I personally didn't see it as something I needed to concern myself with. Thank you, Christina You don't mention if you are a Christian or not.If it is really important to him and he ascribes to the various JW beliefs and practices, it will affect your relationship. You should accept that apostates are mentally diseased. You should believe that baptized members who disassociate from the religion are to be regarded as the “anti-christ”. You shall not read or listen to any apostate media. Observers of the baptism should listen attentively to the baptismal discourse. You should treat baptism with an appropriate degree of seriousness. I just found out that a man I am deeply in love with is a Jehovah Witness. I went to see him for a week this past week for the first time. That said, yes, there are potential problems with getting involved with a JW.
They are not considered as JW's and the society can not officially sanction any of their life style choices. I myself am 40 and though in rush to settle down... I don't know what to do..feels bad and right now are in a moment of silence because we are trying to figure out what to do. I say this as, for myself that would be the first question I would ask someone as my faith is very important to me. I believe when 2 hearts are joined and they are both happy that's what's important. or throwing in 'issues' to stop something that feels so natural it's wrong. But since you state you didn't see his religion as "something to concern myself with" then I would assume if you are a Christian, it is not that important to you.You shall not live in a house with someone whom you are divorced from. You should accept the definition of apostates as defined by Jehovah’s Witnesses’ literature. You shall accept that apostate teachings are propaganda and that the one-sided view from is not.
